Terms of service
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Last updated: September 20, 2026
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of tacslaps.org and purchases from Tac Slaps.
By using the site, submitting artwork, approving a proof, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and the policies incorporated into them, including our Refund, Cancellation, and Replacement Policy, Shipping and Delivery Policy, Privacy Policy, and Artwork and PDF File Policy.
ELIGIBILITY AND LAWFUL USE
You must be legally capable of entering a binding agreement or use the Services with the permission of a parent or legal guardian.
You may not use the Services for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or unauthorized purposes or interfere with the operation or security of the site.
PRODUCTS, PRICES, AND ORDERS
Product descriptions, availability, pricing, promotions, and shipping rates may change without notice before an order is placed. We attempt to display information accurately, but typographical, technical, or pricing errors can occur.
Submitting an order is an offer to purchase. We may accept, reject, limit, or cancel an order for legitimate reasons, including pricing or listing errors, suspected fraud, prohibited artwork, production limitations, payment failure, or shipping restrictions.
If we cancel an order after payment, we will issue an appropriate refund.
Taxes and shipping charges are calculated as shown at checkout. You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate order, payment, billing, and shipping information.
CUSTOM ARTWORK REQUIREMENTS
Tac Slaps accepts print-ready artwork in PDF format only through the website. If you choose to send artwork after checkout, it must be sent according to the instructions in your order communications.
Production will not begin until usable artwork is received and the proof is approved.
You are responsible for submitting an actual, readable, production-ready PDF—not another file type renamed with a “.pdf” extension.
A corrupt, incomplete, password-protected, mislabeled, unsafe, or otherwise unusable file may be rejected and will pause production.
For an ordinary unusable file, you are responsible for resulting delays and for corrective-work charges that Tac Slaps discloses and you approve in advance.
To the extent permitted by law, a customer who knowingly submits malware, executable code, or other harmful content may be responsible for direct losses and reasonable remediation expenses caused by that submission.
Tac Slaps remains responsible for its own negligence, unlawful conduct, and production errors as required by law.
You represent and warrant that:
• You own the submitted content or have all permissions, licenses, and rights necessary for Tac Slaps and its providers to reproduce it;
• The content does not infringe copyrights, trademarks, rights of publicity, privacy rights, or other rights;
• The content is not unlawful, threatening, fraudulent, defamatory, exploitative, or otherwise prohibited;
• The file is free from malware, executable code, corrupted payloads, and other content designed or reasonably likely to damage, access, disrupt, or compromise systems or data; and
• Producing and delivering the order will not violate any law or agreement.
You retain ownership of your artwork.
You grant Tac Slaps and its production providers a limited, nonexclusive license to store, reproduce, modify solely for production setup, create proofs from, manufacture, and deliver the artwork as needed to complete the order, maintain records, and process authorized reorders.
Tac Slaps may refuse content or cancel an order when we reasonably believe the content is unlawful, infringing, deceptive, hateful, threatening, sexually exploitative, or otherwise creates legal, safety, or reputational risk. A refund for unproduced items will be issued when appropriate.
PROOFS AND CUSTOMER APPROVAL
Digital proofs are provided for custom orders. A proof is intended to show the general layout, cut line, size, orientation, and artwork placement.
Printed colors may differ reasonably from colors displayed on a screen because of device settings, materials, inks, and production methods.
You are responsible for carefully reviewing the proof. Approval authorizes production and confirms that the proof is acceptable.
Changes requested after approval may be impossible or may require a new order and additional payment.
Turnaround estimates start after proof approval and receipt of usable artwork and payment.
PAYMENT
Payment is due at checkout unless Tac Slaps agrees otherwise in writing.
Payments are processed through Shopify and available third-party payment providers. Your use of a payment method may also be governed by the provider’s terms.
You authorize the applicable charges, taxes, and shipping costs shown at checkout.
SHIPPING, REFUNDS, AND REPLACEMENTS
Shipping, cancellation, refund, replacement, damage, and lost-package rules are stated in the Shipping and Delivery Policy and Refund, Cancellation, and Replacement Policy. Those policies form part of these Terms.
TAC SLAPS INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The site and its original content—including the Tac Slaps name, grenade logo, graphics, product photography, text, layouts, original designs, and hidden grenade-and-name signature—are owned by or licensed to Tac Slaps and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
No right to copy, reproduce, sell, modify, distribute, or create derivative works is granted except with prior written permission or as allowed by law.
Producing a customer’s artwork does not transfer any Tac Slaps intellectual property to the customer.
COPYRIGHT OR TRADEMARK COMPLAINTS
If you believe content associated with Tac Slaps infringes your rights, email orders@tacslaps.org with the subject line “Intellectual Property Notice.”
Include your contact information, identification of the protected work or mark, identification of the disputed content, the basis of your claim, and a statement that the information provided is accurate and submitted in good faith.
We may request additional information needed to evaluate the notice.
REVIEWS, FEEDBACK, AND SUBMISSIONS
If you voluntarily submit a review, testimonial, photograph, tag, suggestion, or other non-order feedback, you grant Tac Slaps a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, publish, and display it for business and promotional purposes, subject to applicable law.
This provision does not give Tac Slaps permission to publicly display custom artwork merely because it was submitted for an order.
We will seek permission before featuring customer-order artwork or identifying customer information unless another agreement applies.
THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
The site may rely on or link to third-party services, including Shopify, payment providers, carriers, and social platforms.
We do not control their independent services, availability, or terms.
DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site and Services are provided on an “as available” basis.
Except for express commitments in these Terms and policies, Tac Slaps disclaims implied warranties to the extent they may legally be disclaimed.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tac Slaps will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or business opportunities, arising from the Services or an order.
Tac Slaps’ aggregate liability relating to a product or order will not exceed the amount paid for the product or order giving rise to the claim, except where a different remedy is required by law.
These limitations do not apply to liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded.
INDEMNIFICATION
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Tac Slaps and its service providers from third-party claims, damages, and reasonable expenses arising from:
• Artwork or content you submit;
• Your infringement of another party’s rights;
• Your unlawful use of the Services; or
• Your material violation of these Terms.
This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim results from Tac Slaps’ own unlawful conduct.
EVENTS OUTSIDE REASONABLE CONTROL
Tac Slaps is not responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disaster, carrier interruption, labor dispute, supply shortage, equipment failure despite reasonable maintenance, government action, public emergency, or widespread network outage.
We will communicate material delays and provide any remedy required by law.
GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable consumer law requires otherwise.
Any dispute not resolved informally will be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction serving Tac Slaps’ principal place of business, unless applicable law gives the customer another right.
Before filing a claim, you and Tac Slaps agree to make a good-faith effort to resolve the issue by emailing orders@tacslaps.org.
This informal-resolution provision does not prevent either party from seeking urgent relief or using a remedy that cannot legally be restricted.
SEVERABILITY AND WAIVER
If any provision is found unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of the right to enforce it later.
CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms for future use of the Services. Changes become effective when posted unless a later date is stated.
The Terms in effect when an order is placed will continue to govern that order unless applicable law requires otherwise.
