PRIVACY POLICY

Last updated: September 20, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Tac Slaps (“Tac Slaps,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit tacslaps.org, communicate with us, upload artwork, or purchase our products collectively referred to as the “Services.”

Our store is hosted by Shopify, which processes information needed to provide the storefront, cart, payment, security, and related commerce services.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Depending on how you use the Services, we may collect:

• Contact information, such as your name, email address, telephone number, billing address, and shipping address;

• Order information, such as products, sizes, materials, quantities, prices, proof decisions, customer-service messages, returns, and shipment information;

• Payment information, which is processed by Shopify and authorized payment providers. Tac Slaps generally receives transaction details rather than complete payment-card numbers;

• Customer content, including artwork PDFs, logos, designs, instructions, and other materials you submit for production;

• Account information, if customer accounts are enabled;

• Device and usage information, such as IP address, browser, device identifiers, cookie data, pages viewed, referral information, and interactions with the store; and

• Communications and marketing preferences, including requests, reviews, contest entries, and whether you subscribe to promotional messages.

HOW WE USE INFORMATION

We may use personal information to:

• Process payments, create proofs, manufacture products, fulfill orders, provide tracking, and handle refunds or replacements;

• Communicate about orders, artwork, proof approval, support requests, and policy changes;

• Maintain customer artwork and order history for authorized reorders;

• Operate, secure, troubleshoot, analyze, and improve the Services;

• Detect fraud, misuse, security incidents, and unlawful activity;

• Comply with legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations;

• Enforce our agreements and protect our rights, customers, and business; and

• Send marketing communications where permitted, subject to your right to unsubscribe.

COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES

We and our service providers may use cookies, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies to keep the store functioning, remember preferences, understand traffic, prevent fraud, measure marketing, and personalize content or advertising where permitted.

You can adjust browser controls to limit cookies, but disabling necessary cookies may prevent parts of the store or checkout from working. Where required, we will provide consent or privacy-choice controls.

HOW WE DISCLOSE INFORMATION

We may disclose personal information to:

• Shopify, payment processors, fraud-prevention services, hosting providers, and technology providers;

• Production, proofing, shipping, and fulfillment providers that help complete an order;

• Professional advisers, such as accountants, insurers, attorneys, and auditors;

• Government authorities or other parties when disclosure is required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, or security;

• Business-transaction participants in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets; and

• Advertising and analytics partners, subject to applicable consent and opt-out rights.

We do not sell personal information for money, and Tac Slaps does not sell sensitive personal data.

Certain advertising, analytics, or cross-context tracking activities may be treated as a “sale,” “sharing,” or “targeted advertising” under some privacy laws. Where applicable, you may opt out as described below.

Tac Slaps will obtain consent before any use or disclosure for which consent is required by applicable law.

CUSTOMER ARTWORK

Customer artwork is used to prepare proofs, produce orders, provide support, maintain production records, and facilitate authorized reorders.

We do not claim ownership of customer artwork. We may disclose artwork to production providers only as reasonably necessary to fulfill the order or comply with law.

Do not upload sensitive personal information, government records, payment-card data, health information, or other confidential information that is unnecessary for printing.

DATA RETENTION

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including order fulfillment, reorders, customer service, recordkeeping, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and legal compliance.

Retention periods vary depending on the type of information and applicable requirements. You may request deletion of eligible customer artwork or personal information, although some records may need to be retained by law or for legitimate business purposes.

SECURITY

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

YOUR PRIVACY CHOICES AND RIGHTS

Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have the right to:

• Request access to personal information;
• Request correction of inaccurate information;
• Request deletion of eligible information;
• Request a portable copy of eligible information;
• Opt out of targeted advertising, sale, or certain profiling;
• Withdraw consent where processing depends on consent; or
• Appeal a denied privacy request.

To submit a request or appeal, email orders@tacslaps.org with the subject line “Privacy Request.”

Describe your request and provide enough information for us to reasonably verify your identity. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.

An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law, subject to verification of the agent’s authority and the consumer’s identity.

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in the message or by contacting us. Transactional order messages will continue as necessary to fulfill purchases and provide support.

CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.

THIRD-PARTY LINKS

The Services may contain links to third-party sites or services. Their privacy and security practices are governed by their own policies, and Tac Slaps is not responsible for those practices.
